What's New AT THE TOP

We are in the middle of our offseason events, and have seen several 2020 prospects shine while vying for a spot on the 2018 Future Games Team.

Noah Stout (Clemson) and Parker Pilat (Wake Forest) remain steady at the first and second spot on the rankings. Ryan Zimmer (Michigan) and Logan Wood (Michigan) come in respectively at the third and fourth spot.  Outfielder Avain Rivera has moved to the fifth spot and RHP/C Keegan Batka has joined the top ten coming in at the seventh spot.

Avain Rivera OF / RHP / H.H.Dow, MI / 2020

Rivera is a 5-foot-8, 178 pound two way prospect who has shown improvement over the offseason. On the mound has been clocked as high as 85 mph with a heavy feel. Shows a sharp breaking ball and sinking change up. At the plate has a 92 mph exit velocity showing power potential to the pull side and up the middle. Has a feel for the barrel with raw strength.

Keegan Batka RHP / C / Grand Rapids Christian, MI / 2020

Batka is a 6-foot-1, 175 pound dual threat. Has shown the ability to play multiple positions on the diamond. On the mound at our Fall Future Games Trials West event sat 84-86 mph with the ball jumping out of his hand. At SS moved well around the diamond showing good range. Behind the plate he has the ability to receive and block well. Paired with a good throwing arm.

The Risers

Alexander Forry RHP / OF / Livonia Franklin, MI / 2020

RHP Alexander Forry joined the rankings after a strong performance at the Future Games Trials East displaying a strong hitting and pitching. On the mound was up to 89 mph and registered a 90 mph exit velocity. Forry has claimed the 13th spot in the rankings.

Cameron Mallegg OF / C / Grosse Pointe South, MI / 2020

OF Cameron Mallegg is a 5-foot-8, 150 pound OF/C prospect who plays at an accelerated pace. Mallegg ran a 6.67 60 yard dash while throwing 86 mph from the OF. The compact frame prospect shows promise behind the plate as well having one of the top pop times at the event. Mallegg claimed the 17th spot.

Camden Daniels C / 3B / Saline, MI / 2020

C Camden Daniels is a 6-foot-3, 160 pounds has projectable frame with long legs and wide shoulders. Comes from a baseball family as his older brother 2018 Cole Daniels just signed to Kentucky.  The younger Daniels is making a name for himself as he showed well during the fall season during scout baseball and had a strong performance at the Fall Future Games Trials East event. Shows a good understanding of how to call the game and receives the ball well. Threw one of the top pop times at the Fall event also.
