What's New In The Top 10

Broder Katke C / 3B / BROTHER RICE HIGH SCHOOL, MI / 2027

Report: Katke stays at the Top of the ‘26 rankings hailing from Brother Rice. The Duke recruit had another strong summer on the national circuit - sound defensive catcher who’s still making good gains at the plate.

Cameron Thorning C / OF / Woodhaven High School, MI / 2027

Report: Thorning participated in a couple of fall PBRT events in the Metro Detroit area and showed why he’s a top prospect in his class. A strong arm coupled with a physical structure and sound bat - Thorning looks to take good momentum into the offseason.

Colin Bennett RHP / 1B / Novi, MI / 2027

Report: Bennett moves up one spot in the Top 10. A lengthy right handed hurler up to 90 at Super Sophomore Games, Bennett looks to take on an important role for Novi this spring. Already a high floor for the Wildcat, he’s just scratching the surface of what is yet to come.

Fall Showcase Standouts

Seth Hittleman C / OF / Cranbrook, MI / 2027

Report: Another backstop that keeps improving each time we see him. In October Hittleman was a leader in some offensive categories topping 91 mph in BP - also has position flexibility across diamond.

Memphis Davenport 1B / 3B / Southgate Anderson, MI / 2027

Report: Davenport was a standout at the Fall Top Prospect Games in October. Standing 6-3 185 lbs - showed some pullside power with sound footwork around the bag. He’ll look to take another step in his development this offseason.

Cole Raetzel 2B / SS / Saline, MI / 2027

Report: Showed progression at Fall TPG in defense and at the plate increasing exit velocity, sweet spot percentage and arm velocity. Still growing into his frame, makes Raetzel an intriguing prospect for the Hornets of Saline heading into the 2025 season.

Prospects To Look At In 2025

Tyler Gardner C / SS / Dakota, MI / 2027

Report: Gardner looks to make continued gains this offseason in preparation for a strong spring - a reliable backstop with good bat to ball ability makes Gardner an exciting one to watch for Plouffe's Dakota program.

Ethan Campbell LHP / 1B / Grand Haven, MI / 2027

Report: Campbell will help anchor a Buccaneer staff at Grand Haven this spring. A good frame with a ¾ slot and some pitch ability - look for Campbell to make noise in the OK-Red.

Cale Hackenberg C / 3B / Marcellus High School, MI / 2027

Report: A backstop with a rising stock - profiles good size at 6-2, fluid actions behind the plate and has shown flashes of power to the alleys. Look for Hackenberg to have a breakout spring in SW Michigan.
