2025 Minnesota High School Team Previews: Volume VII

Prep Baseball Minnesota strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. Prep Baseball is the number one resource for high school baseball in each state that we cover through various events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work together, creating each state's most potent high school baseball promotion source. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

MANKATO WEST SCARLETS

Coach's Comment:
"Replacing 12 seniors and 150+ innings of pitching is never an easy thing to do, but we have a great group of guys moving up and are ready to compete. I anticipate us to continue to be extremely competitive in both the conference and the section."

KASSON-MANTORVILLE KOMETS

Head Coach: Jared Simon (1 season, 12-11)

Coach's Comment:
"We should have a solid core group of players returning. Our entire starting infield is returning from last year. After losing 10 seniors to graduation last year we will need this year's group of seniors to fill those leadership roles. We also lost a lot of pitching and will need players to step up on the mound. We struggled offensively last year so that will have to be a focus for us to be successful this year."

DELANO TIGERS

"We have a great group of young men that really enjoy playing the game of baseball together. I look forward to watching them compete one day at a time throughout the 2025 season."

CENTRAL RAIDERS

Head Coach: Jon Wroge (26 seasons, 303-243)

"The Raiders will return six starters from a 17 win team last year. Two of those being our top pitchers in Ben Schefers and Jack Paumann. We also return our middle infielders along with two strong outfielders. The Raiders look to finish in the top of the very competitive Wright County Conference."

"La Crescent-Hokah's baseball team is excited for the upcoming season due to the experience and the amount of talent that is coming back within the program. The Lancers have played a lot of high quality baseball over the last couple of years and are hungry to once again make a deep run in the playoffs. If we are able to throw strikes, play solid defense, and get timely hitting...anything is possible and should be an exciting year."
