2025 Minnesota High School Team Previews: Volume VIII

Prep Baseball Minnesota strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. Prep Baseball is the number one resource for high school baseball in each state that we cover through various events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work together, creating each state's most potent high school baseball promotion source. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

NEW LONDON-SPICER WILDCATS

Coach's Comment:
"We lost a lot of talented seniors that all went on to play at the collegiate level. We return a great core of starters from last season's team, led by Junior, Brayden Skindelien, and Seniors Kaden Toutges and Nolan Johnson. Blake Schultz was outstanding at Shortstop for us last season. We are hoping to lean on some big performances from Seniors Garret White and Rylan Shimek. We have 2 Junior pitchers in Cole Laughlin and Logan Swenson who we will look to provide big time innings for us this Spring."

BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S RED KNIGHTS

"We lost major impact players from last year's team. We return a handful of guys who contributed to last seasons success. BSM will look to be competitive in the conference and section."

"Our staff is excited about the upcoming 2025 baseball season. We had a good core of 10th and 11th grade talent that saw significant varsity innings last year, and we look to build on that. Our kids have a great work ethic, buy in, and do a lot of the little things right. You should see a quality brand of baseball from us this spring!"

PARK CENTER PIRATES

"In 2024 we had a lot of young guys get thrown into big positions and went through some growing pains. Having a year experience for those young guys plus a strong senior class, we should be in a good position to make a run at a conference and section title. Depth will be the biggest asset to this group both offensively and on the pitching side."

"We have a great mix of returning Varsity experience and some new faces that will push everyone to be better.  We have some great pitching at the top of the rotation and some great hitters at the top of the order, but there will be a lot of competition to fill the other spots.  As always, we are in a challenging section, but we have some great leaders that are going to push us to reach our full potential."
