2025 Minnesota High School Team Previews, Volume XVII

Prep Baseball Minnesota strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. Prep Baseball is the number one resource for high school baseball in each state that we cover through various events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work together, creating each state's most potent high school baseball promotion source. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

ROCHESTER LOURDES EAGLES

Head Coach: Dave Jenson (6 seasons, 54-37)

Class: 2A

Coach's Comment:
"We have a team that was peaking at the end of the season last year and look to play more consistently throughout the whole season in 2025.  6 starters are in at least their 3rd season as Varsity starting players, so while we will be young with only 4 seniors, our team should be able to deal well when faced with adversity.  Section 1AA is very deep, and our goal is to compete at a level where we are playing in June.  Our goal is to be the most respected team on the field after every game and we look forward to the 2025 season."

BUFFALO BISON

Head Coach: Mike Beilke (22 seasons, 248-300)

Coach's Comment:
"We have a big senior class and a number of younger players that all got varsity experience last year. Our strength should be our pitching staff. We return 10 of our 11 pitchers from last year. For us to be successful, we will need to play clean in the field. Offensively, I think we are ready. We will be getting some guys back that were injured most of last year and we have some young guys that got a chance to grow at the plate last year. We should be able to hit up and down the lineup. Last year we had 5 players injured for most of the year. Another key to our success will be to stay healthy!"

CHASKA HAWKS

"We graduated some key players from last year's team, but we return a group of guys who put in a lot of work this off-season and are ready for their opportunity. For us to be successful, we'll have to play an aggressive brand of baseball and take advantage of every opportunity."

"We feel like we have a nice blend of talent through our roster that includes many returning players. With senior leadership from Tyler Prom, Jace Griffin, and Jake Stalbeorger, we feel like we will compete very well this spring."

We look for our experience and leadership to help us compete for a conference title and make a deep playoff run in a very tough section 6AA. Go Huskies!"
