College Crosscheck: Week Three Pitchers

HOUSTON- After spending Week Two of College Crosscheck evaluating the many top pitching prospects from UCLA and Georgia Tech, l continued to search for more high end arms. The Shriners Hospitals College Classic at Minute Maid Park promised plenty of prospects as 18 of our Top 350 2019 Prospects, including eight of the Top 100, and another dozen from our 2020 Top 150 Prospects rankings were scheduled to compete. No. 7 Nick Lodolo, LHP, TCU- Standing 6-foot-6, 195 pounds and possessing an athletic, repeatable delivery, Lodolo already looks the part of ML starting pitcher. On Friday against Houston he showed the stuff and command of a future frontline ML starting pitcher by mixing a 92-93 (T94) mph fastball with two above average breaking balls.
