On Sunday, March 19th PBR Minnesota will be headed to the St. Michael-Albertville Dome to host one of the biggest showcases of the year.  The PBR MN Preseason All-State is an “Invite-Only” event, exclusive to 2024 grads.  It will spotlight numerous athletes from in and around the state of Minnesota.

In the past eight years this event has taken place, close to 600 participants have made college commits. Last year’s event alone had 117 commits and counting. The Minnesota 2024 class currently has 25 players who have made college commitments and this year’s roster looks to add exponentially to that total once the recruitment of the 2024 class is complete.

This year’s roster is loaded with talent across the board. The top 3 ranked players in Minnesota’s 2024 class will all be in attendance on Sunday. Drew Rogers (Georgia Tech) from Mounds View High School who is currently ranked number one, the number two ranked player Max Arlich (Texas A&M) out of East Ridge High School and Drew Rerick (Missouri) who is ranked third in the class out of Fargo Davies High School.

The highest ranked uncommitted player will be in attendance in Mahtomedi’s Josh Donna. Donna, who participated in last summer’s Future Games, is a right-handed hitting infielder. Ranked 9th in Minnesota’s 2024 class, Donna puts up impressive numbers for his athletic frame.  At 6-foot, 180-pounds, the righty runs a 6.94-60 yard dash, throws 85 mph from the outfield and puts up an 95.8 trackman exit velocity. Donna doesn’t stop with the bat, he also climbs on the mound and features a mid 80s fastball that was seen this time last year. The top ranked uncommitted player could be one of the hotter commodities this spring and summer.

Another infielder who will be participating this Sunday is Luke Skinner out of East Ridge High School. Skinner, who is currently ranked 22nd in the 2024 class, is one of two short-stops ranked in the top twenty-five, the other being Donna. Last August, at his club's scout day, the 6-foot-1, 181-pound lefty bat showed more consistency in his game. Running a 6.91-60-yard dash, 86 mph arm strength and a 92.3 exit velocity.  Another higher ranked uncommitted bat that will be one to keep tabs on Sunday.

It will be an action-packed day in St. Michael-Albertville with enormous amounts of talent consolidated in one location. See you then!
