The PBR MN Preseason Underclass event for 2025 grads is coming to the St. Michael-Albertville Dome on Saturday, March 18th, 2022.

This invite-only showcase spotlights some of the best up-and-coming young talent from Minnesota and the surrounding region. The Preseason Underclass has become a launching pad for freshman and sophomore prospects: Over the last eight years over 250 high school prospects have made college commitments to continue their education and playing careers.

The number one ranked player in Minnesota’s 2025 class and one of the top uncommitted players in the class, William Haas will be in attendance on Saturday. A future games participant from last summer is also ranked in PBR’s 2025 national ranking at 259th in the country. The left-handed throwing pitcher has made strides the past few years. At 6-foot, 165-pounds, Haas has a fastball that sits 85.3-87.5 mph to go along with a curveball at 70.1-71.4 mph and a change-up at 75.1-76.2 via trackman. The southpaw shows above average feel for both secondary pitches and will look to build on his young resume.

The 2025 class has already made noise with the depth of talent led by arms like RHP Landon Majerus (Waconia), LHP John Henry Kohorst (Cretin-Derham Hall), RHP Luke Ryerse (East Ridge) and RHP Hunter VaDeer (Lyle) to name a few. Other players such as Nick Bowron (Rochester Lourdes), Noah Hahn (New Life Academy), Sam Haugen (Esko), and Isaac Marek (Chanhassen) are all bats to keep tabs on.

The class is currently ranked out to 25 prospects and a multitude of players will look to jump to the forefront of the class with their performances at the event. The 2025 class has established themselves as a deep class filled with talented hitters, pitchers, and two-way prospects. Over 100 uncommitted players will be in St. Michael-Albertville on March 18th, representing their respective high schools from across the region.
