7/10/18 - University of Minnesota commit. 6-foot, 200-pound, strong, durable, right-handed pitcher; workhorse type frame. Struck out one in his inning of work. Controlled, side-step delivery, works with effort and intent; upright finish and falls off at times. Profiles as a late-inning reliever. Strong, quick arm action, high ¾ slot. Slight plunge action out of the glove. Fastball works straight, rides it up in the zone at times, sat 88-89 mph, touched 90. Slider, thrown aggressively, average feel, 11/5 shape, 78 mph. Also, mixed in a curveball at 71-74 mph, more 12/6 action. Saw one changeup in game, 75 mph.

6/19/18- 6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #6 ranked player in MN 2019 class and recent commit to U. of Minnesota. On mound; loads over rubber, drives baseball downhill, fast arm out front, some effort in release. Fastball was 86-89 mph with late varying action with depth. Breaking ball is hard with late break and has 11/5 shape. Solid fade on changeup with arm-side sink for strikes. 7.43 runner. Open stance, aggressive swinger, some length to contact, short finish, present strength with hard contact to middle of field, 93 mph exit velocity. Solid corner actions in field, works through ball, plays on balls of feet, above avg. arm with accuracy to bag.

3/18/18- 6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #8 ranked player in MN 2019 class. Strong durable frame. Worked 88-89 mph with heavy fastball from ¾ slot. Slider shape on breaking ball with tight spin and has potential to be a swing and miss pitch at the next level. Late depth with sink on changeup. 7.71 runner. Open stance, strides square, easy hand rhythm, routinely squares baseball, hard line drive and fly ball contact, shows pop in bat, short raw finish through contact, 90 mph exit velocity. Easy actions and move athletically in field, sure hands with soft glove, has carry and accuracy to bag, 84 mph arm across infield.


10/22/17- 6-foot, 195-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #8 ranked player in MN 2019 class and #388 in PBR Overall. 7.34 runner. Tall stance, balanced, above avg. bat speed, short finish through contact, line drive and fly ball hitter with pop in bat, 93 mph exit velocity. Strong arm with accurate online throws to bag with carry, 87 mph arm across infield, works around and through baseball, solid glove skills, plays with confidence, good body control. On mound; builds tempo through delivery, athletic leg kick into taller tuck and turn balance point, clean athletic arm action, drives down mound, with extension and finish to plate. Fastball had late cutting action at 86-88 mph for strikes. Short break on tight spinning slider, thrown with conviction, at 74-78 mph. Solid feel for changeup with good action and lands consistently in bottom of zone for strikes.


3/18/17- 6-foot, 195-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.56 runner. Upright stance, slight crouch over plate, rhythm in hands, present strength, spray contact across field, flashes of pop in bat, 90 mph exit velocity. Sure hands, creates angles to throw, clean arm action, above avg. carry and accuracy to bag, 83 mph arm across infield. On mound; athletic tuck and turn delivery, builds momentum throughout wind-up, leaks off rubber early, quick compact arm action. Fastball was heavy at 82-86 mph; topping out at 87 mph. 11/5 breaking ball has slider action, thrown with velo, and has depth and tight spin. Changeup is above avg. pitch, thrown at fastball arm speed, with late fade and sink. High Follow in MN 2019 class.

10/24/16- 6-foot, 195-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.44 runner. Square stance, avg. rhythm, choppy actions, rotational hitter, present strength, flashes hard pull contact, 85 mph exit velocity. Light on his feet, reads hops well, soft glove, above avg. arm with carry and accuracy, 84 mph arm strength across diamond. On mound; uptempo delivery, long clean arm action, produces above avg. arm speed, some effort and head whack on release. Works fastball downhill for strikes at 82-84 mph. Consistent shape and spin on 11/5 breaking ball thrown with good arm speed. Follow in 2019 class.
