Prep Baseball Minnesota Recruitment Overview: Class of 2025

As we turn the page from the 2024 calendar year, we look back at the members of the class of 2025 who made their college commitments. In Minnesota, 278 players announced their commitments to schools – an impressive 65% increase over last year’s recruiting class.
While many players have already intended to play at the next level, there remain many uncommitted players from the 2025 class on the board.

MINNESOTA'S TOP 25
In the Top 25 ranked players in the class, the University of Minnesota led the way with 4 commits (Luke Ryerse, Ethan Felling, Oliver Lindstrom, and Tristan Moore). Creighton University (Hunter Vadeer, Nick Bowron and Seth Thompson) and the University of St. Thomas (Landon Majerus, Noah Hahn, and Nolan Welke) each with 3.
NCAA DIVISION I
Minnesota’s class of 2025 had 28 commitments to Division 1 programs with the University of Minnesota and University of St. Thomas each landed 5 commits.

NCAA DIVISION II
Sixty-seven players from the class of 2025 made their commitments to Division 2 programs. The University of Minnesota-Crookston was ultra aggressive with the class and had 13 commits, Concordia-St. Paul had 8, while Minnesota State-Mankato and St. Cloud State University nabbed 6.
NCAA DIVISION III
One hundred eighteen players made their commitments to Division 3 programs. Led by Gustavus Adolphus College (15 commitments), Bethel University (11), and Hamline University (9).
NJCAA
Fifty-eight players decided to go the JUCO route, with Dakota County Technical College committing 13, 8 committing to Iowa Central, and Alexandria and Marshalltown (IA), each with 6.
NAIA
Nine players made their commitments to NAIA programs headlined by Dakota Wesleyan (3).
