Season Outlook
Bolivar will loaded with seniors in 2016.  Eight position players return and three pitchers will also be back for the Liberators.  SS shortstop JD Murders, a Texas Tech recruit, will be the leader.  Murders was a First Team All-District selection a year ago, and will be playing along side 2B Jackson Abdon, a Benedictine commit and INF Camden Burns, a Crowder commit.  Senior INF John Cates will round out the infield, giving Bolivar one of the top defensive infields in Class 4.  Missouri State commit, junior RHP Connor Sechler will be the go-to guy on the mound, while senior C Gavin Morris and senior OF Aaron Samek round out the list of players returning with All-Conference honors.  Seniors Dontay Sharp, Jacob Gaither and Chase Roweton will play a key role in the Liberators success this spring as well.  All played a big part in the post-season for Bolivar in 2015.  This spring, the Liberators look to build on their success from last year and take the next step past the state sectionals.  They have their sights set on the Class 4 Final Four.
