Season Outlook
The 2016 edition of the Lutheran South Lancers will be lead by All-State senior P/SS Alex Stevenson.  Stevenson, an Eastern Illinois commit, batted .337 with three home runs and 15 RBI last season.  The Lancers line up will be strong in the middle, headed by junior 1B Sam Lombard, who hit .369 with three home runs and 16 RBI as a sophomore.  Lindenwood commit, Mark Mehlville will add speed to the outfield and be another threat with experience in the line up.  The Lancers will also feature newcomer, 6-foot-7 255-pound RHP Noah Stone.  The Lancers look to get over the one run loss in the district finals from last season.  They have the talent and experience to make a push in late May.
