As  we  prepare  for  the  upcoming  2017  high  school  season,  we  will  be  taking  a 
preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

SEASON OUTLOOK
The 2015 Class 4 state champions look to get back to the Final Four and avenge last season's loss to state champion MICDS in the quarterfinals.  In 2017, the Bulldogs will have a good mix of experienced upperclassmen and solid underclassmen.  Returning two pitchers, Junior RHP Will Ferrell, an All-District selection last season, will need to become the ace on the mound. Notre Dame will return three postion players including three upperclassmen with post season accolades in senior 1B Garrett Siebert, C Trevor Haas, and SS Winston Welter on the infield.  The Bulldogs will have look to improve their offensive numbers from last season to make another run at the Final Four.  The mix of experience and youth on the 2017 roster will make them a contender for the state championship.
