SEASON OUTLOOK
The Falcons are made of very dedicated seniors with the expectation of adding a state championship to their resume.  Many of the seniors have been on varsity since they were freshman and now carry college commitments.  Jackson Rutledge and Coltyn Kessler will the top battery in the state in any class.  Rutledge is an Arkansas commit and Kessler a Kentucky commit, and both will get attention of pro scouts this spring, and both are attending the PBR Super 60 in February.  The Falcons will be strong up the middle with Jaxon Passino, a Kansas State recruit, at shortstop and Conor Dryer, a Central Missouri commit, in center field.  On the mound, Summit will be deep and talented.  Behind Rutledge, the Falcons will feature a pair of junior left handed pitchers in Jimmy Schork and Blake CisnerosSchork represented Missouri at the PBR Future Games in August. Also keep an eye on Dryer to pitch meaningful innings and McKendree commit, Connor Gilles, will also play a key role on the infield and on the mound after returning from injury in 2016.  The Falcons will be mentioned as one of the top teams in Class 5, and with the talent on this springs roster, who could argue.
