As  we  prepare  for  the  upcoming  2017  high  school  season,  we  will  be  taking  a 
preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Season Outlook
Over the past two seasons, the Staley Falcons have complied a 58-9 record which includes a trip to the Class 5 championship game in 2015.  The Falcons will look for continued success this spring with a pair of quick arms at the top of their rotation.  Super 60 participant, Matt Russell (Missouri State) was an All State selection as a junior and will lead the staff, while junior RHP Braedyn McLaughlin (Missouri) will contribute heavily to the teams' success this spring. Athletic junior OF Rodrick Criss will lead the offense and hold down the middle of the line up.  The Falcons will also look for seniors C Amos Healy, INF Isaac Esquilin (Southwestern) and C/1B Michael Burdick to add some speed and pop to the line up.  Watch for junior C/3B Johnny Rayburn to have an impact this spring both offensively and defensively.  Staley has a well rounded team that can win in many ways and will once again contend for a trip to the Final Four in June.
