Season Outlook
Boonville has had back-to-back twenty win seasons in the last two years.  In 2016, the Pirates finished second in Missouri's Class 4 with 26-6 record and finished with a 20-5 mark a season ago.  In 2018, the Pirates will go after their fourth consecutive district title and get back to the Final Four.  Boonville will have a trio of All-Staters leading the way.  Kole Ficken, a 1st Team All State infielder and Central Missouri commit returns for his senior season, while junior catch Dylan Watson and right-handed pitcher Conner Barnes look to build on a successful 2017 season after earning 2nd Team and Honorable Mention All-State honors, respectively.  Crowder commit, Jared Viertel will add experience throw important innings this spring for the Pirates. Ethan Waibel will sure up the infield at shortstop and look for a pair of juniors, Reece Lang and Malik Brazil to make an impact in the teams success this spring.
