Season Outlook
The Willard Tigers have played for the district championship in each of the last seven years, winning five of them, and last spring, they won the Central Ozarks Conference title for the first time since the mid-1990's.  They fell the to the eventual state champions, Jefferson City, in the state playoffs, but have a lot to be excited for in 2018.  Willard will be lead by a pair of senior all-conference performers in Tanner Norris and Matthew Eleiott. Both will see time on the mound with Norris playing a key role in the outfield.  Watch for newcomers Noah Woolridge and Cole Bieller to make an impact this spring, while sophomore Grant Harris could be the teams X-Factor.  Harris a an athletic defender that can hit and could fit in as the number four pitcher in the rotation.  The Tigers line up will also feature, power bat and Missouri commit, sophomore Garrett Rice and Evangel commit, Landon Taylor will see time in the outfield and give the Tigers a lefty in the rotation.  Expect to see Willard back in the district championship this spring and making a run a state playoffs.
