The Missouri high school baseball season kicks off on Mar. 14, opening day for regular season action under MSHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Missouri Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2025 SEASON OUTLOOK

No. of Returning Position Players: 12
No. of Returning Pitchers: 7

Top Returners:

• LHP Cooper Brown (2026) - L/L
  • Entering his third year at the top of the rotation, coming off a sophomore year in which he posted a 3.37 ERA, struck out 43 and only walked 14 in 43.2 innings pitched (leading the team in all categories).
• OF Bobby Wittman (2025) - R/R
  • Hit .298 as a junior, great approach at the plate and strong leadership qualities.
• INF/RHP Jackson Miller (2026) - L/R
  • Two-year varsity starter at shortstop. Third on the team last year in batting average and second in ERA.

Key Players Lost:

• DH Nick Livingston
• RHP Elliot Meyers

Coach’s Insight: “We have a motivated group that projects to have versatility and athleticism around the diamond. We will be counting on a lot of guys who haven't yet proven it at the varsity level.
