Adidas Athletics Scout Day: Stat Story

The Adidas Athletics and Prep Baseball Report joined together for a 56 player scout day featuring players from the 2022 class to the 2025 grads. This event was loaded with talent up and down and also saw a few breakout candidates that will be jumping on some radars in the future. The event was flooded with talented arms up and down the roster and was highlighted by 2023 Mizzou commit Ben Smith hitting 93 mph on the gun. Right behind him was Missouri State commit Caden Bogenpohl reaching up to 92 mph as well as 2022 Mizzou commit Micah Worley touching that 93 mph mark. Iowa commit Tanner Paschke continues to make strides on the mound hitting 91 mph. All told there were 7 total arms that reached that 90 mph milestone.
There were multiple guys that impressed with their footspeed at the event and was led by Steven Schneider from Jackson at 6.58 seconds in the 60. Mizzou commit Aiden Heberlie was right behind him leading the way for the 2022's at 6.61 seconds. William Bruenger Jr. showcased his speed leading the way in the 2024 class at 6.75 with Jake Miller right behind him at 6.76.
The power was also on display by a good amount of players led by Caden Bogenpohl and his 101 mph exit velo. Aiden Heberlie and Missouri State commit William Zareh each were next up behind him both hitting up to 96. The Kirkwood commit Ethan Edinger also showed off his strength at contact hitting 95 mph off the barrel. Jake Miller continued his big day leading the 2qy for the 2024's with an 88 mph exit velo and Evan Mager paced the 2025's at 86 mph.
Zareh posted the top infield arm from across the diamond reaching up to 92 mph with Jeremy Heaghney also showing off his arm at 91 mph. Ethan Edinger worked the ball acorss the diamond at an impressive 89 mph with Tanner Paschke coming in at 88 mph. Logan Darnell had the top arm in the 2024 class at 84 mph. In the outfield both Heberlie and Bogenpohl continued to put their power numbers on display both reaching up to 92 mph. Klayton Kiser from Willard touched 91 mph and Senior Heartland Community College commit Darian Crisp reached 90 mph. Zareh also topped the charts from behind the plate with a very impressive 89 mph from the crouch. Tyler Lang also showed off his arm strength reaching up to 78 mph as well as Logan Ripper reaching back for 77 mph.
