Future Games Preview: Colby Fitch, a C/OF from Hickman HS

Versatility and athleticism is the name of the game for Colby Fitch from Hickman HS. Primarily a catcher, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound left handed hitting Fitch was among the hitting leaders in the Central Missouri area and the top hitter for Hickman HS, posting a .408 batting average with four home runs and twenty seven RBIs. Fitch should continue to be an impact player for Hickman as a junior in 2013 and continue his trend of excelling at the plate.

At the Top Prospect Showcase in Columbia as a freshman in 2011, Fitch impressed as the youngest participant of the event. Behind the plate, Fitch has showed a top pop time of 1.91 and a strong arm in the outfield (81 mph).
