Uncommitted JUCO Spotlight: Keaton Mudd

Redshirt freshman UTIL Keaton Mudd has performed well for North Central Missouri in 2023. In 111 plate appearances across 34 games, he has slashed .286/.374/.341, along with 19 runs and 23 RBI. Mudd has stolen five bags as well, and his ability to play multiple positions in the field has been valuable. Mudd was a top performer at the State Fair and North Central Scout Day last fall.

He consistently hit solid line drives, with a 66.7% sweet spot percentage and a 55.6% line drive percentage, and his 85.0 maximum on-plane efficiency is impressive. He also displayed great acceleration, with a 1.65 second 10-yard dash.
