Kevonte Mitchell, Kennett High School, 6-foot-4, 190-pounds, 3B/SS
Last season, Kevonte Mitchell batted .373 with six doubles, two triples, and a pair of home runs.  He batted in 23, scored 27 runs and tallied 11 stolen bases.  As a sophomore, Mitchell hit. 380 with a pair of home runs and had 29 RBI.  In September at the Get Hits 4 Education All-Star Game in Kansas City, Mitchell was also seen throwing a bullpen with a velocity topping 90 mph.   On the court, Mitchell averages nearly 25 points per game.

Needless-to-say, he is one of the better athletes in Missouri still undecided on his college plans. Although he raised the eyebrows from a few schools.  Missouri, Jefferson College and John A. Logan all have him on their radar.  He also recently visited Southern Illinois-Carbondale. "I am looking for a school with good business program," Mitchell added.

As Mitchell continues to decide on where he will go to school, he is preparing for his final basketball and baseball seasons.  Mitchell says, "I plan to lead my baseball team to state", about his goals for the spring of 2014.  He does not play for a summer travel team.

Mitchell has a 3.4 GPA and a 17 ACT.
