Class 5

#3 Liberty North 11, Fort Osage 2
Collin Flannigan hit two home runs and tallied five RBI in an 11-2 win over Fort Osage.  Brian Sharp and Andrew Vogelbaugh collected two hits each, while Cale Hansen drove in three for Liberty North.  Tyler Funk earned the win going five innings allowing one run on three hits with three strikeouts and two walks.  Liberty North is now 14-1 on the season. 

Kickapoo 14, Lebanon 7
Kickapoo rolls to victory at home against the visiting Yellow Jackets. Lebanon got to Logan Wiley early by scoring three runs in the top of the first. The Chiefs came right back with six of their own in the bottom half of the first. Logan Wiley got the win for Kickapoo, going 4 1/3 innings allowing three earned runs while striking out three. Kyle Giefer also pitched for the Chiefs, going 2 2/3 shutout innings while striking out four. The hit parade was on for Kickapoo. Joey Humphrey, Logan Wiley, Danny Crews, Alex Kellog, Kaleb Schmidt, and Tristan Stevens all had multi-hit games. Kyle Giefer and Alex Kellogg both hit homeruns. The Yellow Jackets also had hot bats. Rocky Long, Dylan Bradshaw, and Keaton Warren all had multi-hit games.

Platte County 12, Grandview 1
Platte County thumps Grandview in a five-inning game at home. Jacob Eastman tossed four scoreless innings for the Pirates while striking out four. The Pirates lead-off hitter Nabil Ahmad reached base four times and came around to score four runs. Derrick Holcomb sealed the victory with a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the fifth inning.  Cameron Dean and Darrian Aldridge both hit doubles for the Bulldogs.

Oak Grove 10, Lexington 10
The Oak Grove Panthers put together an eight-run bottom of the fifth to spread Lexington. Oak Grove’s Skyler Jackson silenced Lexington’s bats for a five-inning complete game shutout. He allowed only three hits and totaled sixty three pitches. TJ Mausbach and Jake Kienzler both had two hits and two RBI for the Panthers.
