Potential Matchups of No. 1 Versus No. 2 Teams and Players Highlight Wednesday March 20th Games

No. 1 vs No. 2 matchups of the top Ranked Class of 2014 players and potentially top ranked teams in Missouri highlight the schedule for Wednesday.

If No. 1 Francis Howell can defeat Timberland in a game suspended by weather (tied at 2-2), they will take on No. 2 CBC at 6:30pm in the championship game of the Troy Tournament at Troy High School. Howell defeated Windsor 12-0, Seckman 4-2, and Timberland x-2 to advance to the championships. CBC defeated Duchesne 8-1, Ft. Zumwalt West 5-3, and Francis Howell North 10-3 to claim their spot in the championship game.

Class of 2014 No. 1 ranked player RHP Alex Lange from Lee's Summit West will make his first start of the spring, against Class of 2014 No. 2 ranked RHP Storm Rynard from Raymore-Peculiar. No. 3 ranked player in the Class, OF Monte Harrison will also be on the field in this matchup. The marks the first time the top 3 players in a class will all be on the field at the same time.
