Scouting Report:
Gibbs is a 6-foot 180-pound right-handed pitcher and catcher. His fastball rangers from 80-86 mph,  and runs inside to RHH.  He has 12-to-6 curveball at 71-74 mph, late/sharp break, fastball arm speed, great feel for curveball.  Gibbs' curveball is a swing and miss out pitch.  He has a change-up at 67-72 mph with sink. He has a high ¾ delivery, throws with regular effort, and quick arm speed. Gibbs was 4-2 for Holt last spring with 56 strikeouts in 37 innings, allowing just 13 walks. 

Behind the plate, Gibbs has a 73 mph positional velo, pop times between 1.97 and 2.10 with quick/clean exchange. At the plate, middle to pull approach, 88 mph exit velo, athletic set-up, smooth load, pull power, level to extension, 4.71 home-to-first, 7.69 60 time.

The Future Games will take place on July 30 - Aug 1 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis. The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2017 prospects and select 2018 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance.
