Scouting Report:
 Vierling is a 6-foot 170-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in the 2017 class from CBC.  Vierling runs a 7.15 60, and posted one of the top exit velo’s at Underclass Games at 91 mph.  Vierling has smooth load from an athletic stance, linear stride, fast bat speed, level through the zone, consistent hard contact during batting practice, ability to drive ball to both gaps, uses back leg for power.  On the infield, had one of the top infield velos at the Underclass Games in June at 83 mph. Over-the-top release, momentum towards first base, plays through the ball, clean exchange, quick footwork, arm works from different slots.

Vierling hit .431 for the Cadets this spring, with eight doubles and 11 runs batted in, leading CBC to a Class 5 state championship. Brother Matt, is a Notre Dame commit was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in June.

This one-of-a-kind event will feature the best uncommitted Class of 2017 prospects from our 20-plus state coverage area. The Future Games will take place on July 30 - Aug 1 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis. The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2017 prospects and select 2018 prospects. Last year, more than 110 colleges from all over the country were in attendance.
