The University of Missouri has two players commit over the weekend.  Michael Plassmeyer (DeSmet, 2015) and Nolan Gromacki (Smithville, 2014).  Kansas City Kansas Community College got in on the action, signing Tyler Hull (New Franklin, 2014).

Plassmeyer is a long and lanky 6-foot-3 175-pound LHP has committed to the University of Missouri. He is currently ranked #20 in Missouri.  He has smooth mechanics with easy effort and has ability to throw four pitches for a strike. He has a late breaking 2-to-8 breaking ball with near fastball arm speed, a straight change up thrown 70-71 mph that stays on the outer half of the plate, and a 66-67 mph split finger with hard, late movement. Along with his brother Mitchell, a 2014 grad and Kansas State commit, #7 ranked De Smet will be very talented on the mound this spring.

Gromacki is a Smithville native and will attending the University of Missouri next year. He is a 6-foot 180-pound C/3B that will look to move to the bullpen next year.  He led Smithville to a 14-6 record and an appearance in the district championship a season ago.  Gromacki was also selected All-State third team as a defensive end for the football team.

Tyler Hull has singed with Kansas City Kansas Community College,  He is a 6-foot-2 170-pound RHP with a fastball 85-90 mph.  He led New Franklin to a 15-5 record and a district championship last year and has the Bulldogs ranked #9 in the 2014 MHSBCA Pre-Season Poll for Missouri Class 1.  He was selected to the the All-State first team as a DH/Utility player as a junior and was selected second team All-State as a pitcher his sophomore season.
