RHP Blake Charlton (Missouri) was 6-0 last season and struck out 59 batters, earning first team all-state honors. He also hit .313 with a pair of home runs and 18 RBIs. SS Mark Vierling (Missouri) will return to man the middle after hitting .412 as a sophomore. Christian Brothers College will also be deep on the mound with 2016 RHP Alec Whaley (Murray State), 2016 RHP Jake Hausmann (Missouri State) and RHP Owen Pyatt (Quincy). The Cadets will as talented as any team in the state this spring.  They will be well rounded with the ability to pitch, hit and defend. Watch for the to be a tough out this spring on their way to defend the Class 5 championship.
