Grieshaber was a varsity starter as a freshman and hit over .400 before participating in the 2012 Midwest Futures as part of a strong crop of Missouri prospects. He showed a good approach and reached base four times that weekend and displayed good range with a plus arm. His combination of ability and instincts resonates with scouts. He is an excellent athlete and turned down offers to play soccer from Indiana and Wake Forest—two high-level programs in the sport. At the plate, Grieshaber has good bat speed and takes aggressive hacks.
