 OUTLOOK:

The Mustangs have a solid core of position players and a young pitching staff. They return 4 starting position players and 1 pitcher that had 15-innings or more in 2013. Marquette will be led by a large group of seniors including Mitch Carr, Keith Greshaber (Committed - Arkansas), Tristan Johnson (Committed - Drury), Austin Powers, Matt Scheibel (Committed - Jefferson College), and Tyler Wood. Coach Meyer also expects big production from juniors Brennan Barnes, Charlie Kreh, and Sean McCracken. If their defense plays solid baseball, Marquette has a chance to make some noise in Class 5 this year.
