OUTLOOK:

The Falcons lose some pitching from their 2013 team that finished 4th at State. They return 4 starting position players and 3 pitchers that had 15-innings or more in 2013. Staley will be led by Central Missouri commit John Oliver, Southwest Baptist commit Johnny Joe Scavuzzo, and senior Cody Nutt. Coach Wilson is also expecting production from junior Levi McLaughlin. The biggest battle this Spring will come on the mound. There are a bunch of candidates that could see significant innings for the Falcons in 2014. Overall, Staley has tremendous depth and should be strong for the next few years.
