Willard High School will be hosting the the Lead-Off Tournament March 26 to Mach 28 in Willard, Missouri, just north of Springfield.  The tournament will feature eight teams, six teams from Missouri and two from Arkansas.

Pool A will consist of Willard (MO), Glendale (MO), Jefferson City (MO), and #7 Lee's Summit West (MO).  Pool B will include #8 Marquette (MO), Siloam Springs (AR), Mountain Home (AR), and Lebanon (MO).  Pool play will begin on Thursday, March 26 with the championship game set for 5 pm on Saturday, March 28.

Scott McGee, Willard head coach commented, "This tournament has turned into one of the premier tournaments in the state.  We have multiple Final 4 teams and state-ranked teams from the past few years, and the programs in this tournament are strong year in/year out."

Last season, The Lead-Off Tournament had great competition with host Willard taking home the championship.  We can expect to see more talented players playing at a top level in 2015.

Games will be played at Tom Greenwade Memorial Field located behind Wilard North Elementary at the corner of Hwy. 160 and Hwy AB.  Games will also be played at Glendale HS in Springfield, MO and Rogersville HS in Rogersville, MO.
