Before the action gets underway on Sunday, let's take a look at some of the prospects that the PBR staff is looking forward to seeing.

Two of the top underclassman in the state will attend Sunday’s event. Mississippi State recruit, 1B Kellum Clark (Jackson Academy, MS) currently ranked No. 1 in the recent release of Mississippi’s 2020 class, and No. 12 Overall. Clark is an imposing figure for his age at 6-foot-4, 221 pounds. The left-handed power combined with the bat speed and overall approach at the plate ranks him as one of the best in the nation and has created significant buzz in the recruiting world.

Mississippi recruit, Catcher Hayden Dunhurst (Pearl River Central) currently ranked No. 2 in Mississippi’s 2019 class is a physical left-handed hitter with a strong, 5-foot-10, 210-pound frame. Dunhurst’s athleticism and arm strength behind the dish, along with the left-handed power at the plate makes him an interesting prospect to watch as he enters his junior season.

The event features two members of Mississippi's 2017 PBR Future Games squad, including uncommitted 2019 RHP Landon Rascoe (Hattiesburg HS, MS) and C/1B Colin Frederickson (St. Stanislaus HS, MS). Rascoe has shown plenty of upside in the past with fastball touching 92 mph. The left-handed hitting, Frederickson uses a simple, compact stroke, showing strength at contact, bat speed and consistently puts the barrel on the baseball.

Uncommitted 2019 INF/RHP Leo Harris (St. Martin HS, MS) will be another interesting player to watch on Sunday. The athletic, 6-foot-3, 165-pounder still shows room to fill out, physically. He has already exhibited athleticism posting a 6.75 60-yard dash time at the recent TPL Scout Day.

The event will also feature several top 2018 prospects that have recently made their pledge to junior colleges across the state.  Pearl River CC signee, 3B Austen Izzio (Pearl River HS, MS) as well as RHP/SS Brendan Hardy (Harrison Central HS, MS) and Catcher Chase Tilghman (West Lauderdale HS, MS), both of which are Jones County JC signees. Meridian signee, 3B/1B Hendrix Cooley (Southaven HS, MS) and Hinds CC signee, RHP/1B Harrison Haley (Germantown HS, MS)
