Team Outlook:

Northeast Jones Head Coach Jeremy Parker finds his squad in a complete rebuilding phase heading into 2023. The Tigers are coming off a successful 2022 season which ended with a 19-12 record and South State Championship appearance. Coach Parker does return 3 positional starters but will looking for arms after the loss of a very solid pitching staff from a year ago.

Senior Kyle Braddock (C/CF) returns after leading the team in hitting with a .415 average in 2022. Outstanding freshman Kyle Padgett hit nearly .300 and is one of the top 2025 young players in the state.

The Tigers do have help on the way with a solid group of underclassmen that includes sophomores Ryne Herrington (MI/RHP), and Cruz Sullins (3B/RHP), along with freshman Jax Sullins (C/CF/RHP).

Look for the Tigers to be back in the mix within the 4A class soon as these young players continue to develop while getting some valuable game experience in 2023.
