Madison, MS - The Mississippi Preseason All-State was held Saturday, January 21st at the Southern Performance Institute in Madison, MS. This was an open event that consisted of prospects from the 2023-2026 classes. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion, ran the 30 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated bullpens during the workout and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Saturday.

Continuing off our post-event coverage for these events, we take a look at each outfielder that attended either of the events. Check back tomorrow as we conclude our post-event coverage by taking a look at each pitcher in attendance.

Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-2, 205-pounds. Well developed frame, proportional. Strong lower half, athletic.
Delivery: Smooth, Controlled tempo with good direction and stride length.
Arm Action: RH. Very long and loose arm action.
FB: T88, 86-88 mph. Good arm side run on inner half. T2317, 2247 average rpm.

Jayden Adcox, Forest (MS), 2023, (East Central CC)
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 225-pounds. Well developed and proportional frame. Strong.
Delivery: Smooth, controlled tempo and speeds up slightly as he moves down slope. Good direction.
Arm Action: RH. Long, quick arm action
FB: T87, 85-87 mph. Good life to pitch. Rides through the zone well. T2235, 2201 average rpm.
CB: 74-77 mph. Solid downward bite though still developing command for pitch. T2130, 2092 average rpm.

Jon Grey Morrisson, West Union (MS), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/C
Body: 6-6, 205-pounds. Strong lower half, well developed frame, athletic.
Delivery: Easy tempo and repeatable. Good direction though may could get longer into stride.
Arm Action: RH. Short, though quick arm action.
FB: T86, 84-86 mph. Baseball jumps out of hand with life though still gaining command. T2167, 2138 average rpm.
CB: 75-77 mph. Still developing pitch. T1906, 1890 average rpm.
SL: 74-74 mph. T1933, 1933 average rpm.
CH: 73-75 mph. Very good feel for pitch. Solid go to ahead in the count. T1488, 1446 average rpm.

Corbyn Clayton, Pontotoc (MS), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-9, 140-pounds. Athletic frame with room to add size.
Delivery: Smooth tempo with good direction and solid stride length. Pulls front foot towards first base side.
Arm Action: RH. Very quick and loose arm.
FB: T85, 83-84 mph. Good life with developing command. T2157, 2120 average rpm.
SL: 72-75 mph. Very solid action to pitch though may try to use too much of the body to throw the pitch. T2402, 2373 average rpm.

Tristan Hendrix, Hatley (MS), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Lean and athletic frame with room to add to the body.
Delivery: Smooth tempo and repeatable delivery. Solid direction into release.
Arm Action: RH. Loose arm action with some length.

Dawson Muenzenmay, Northwest Rankin (MS), 2023, (Hinds CC)
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. High waisted frame, athletic and lean look. Can add some size to the frame.
Delivery: Smooth Tempo and very manageable. Good direction though short into stride.
Arm Action: RH.

Delivery: Starts smooth then tempo speeds up. Good direction and length in stride. Cuts off arm a little early.
Arm Action: LH. Long arm action.

Body: 6-1, 175-pounds. Leaner and athletic look, proportional frame.
Delivery: Slow tempo with direction offline to 1B side. Better than last time we saw him. Repeats delivery well.
Arm Action: RH. Lengthy, loose arm action.

Ayden Wilbanks, Kossuth (MS), 2026

Body: 6-0, 165-pounds. Athletic frame, proportional build. Can add to the body.
Delivery: Smooth tempo at the beginning and gets quicker into stride. Pull lead foot to 1B side slightly at foot strike. Good depth.
Arm Action: LH. Very quick arm action
FB: T82, 80-81 mph. Arm side run when he stays deep and in the strike zone. T2150, 2036 average rpm.
CB: 66-67 mph. Very good shape and action. Late bite. Still developing command. T2414, 2363 average rpm.

Reese Littlejohn, Oak Grove (MS), 2024

Delivery: Quick controlled tempo and moves well down the mound. Good direction and depth.

FB: T76, 75-76 mph. Solid action and way more coming! T2164, 2114 average rpm.
CB: 63-64 mph. Very good shape and action. Gonna be a big pitch for him. T1901, 1887 average rpm.

Jackson Haden, Oak Grove (MS), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-11, 180-pounds. Smaller frame, lean, can add size to the body.
Delivery: Smooth tempo with good direction. Could get longer into stride.
Arm Action: LH. Long, loose arm action.
FB: T76, 75-76 mph. Solid feel for FB with good awareness of zone. T1491, 1399 average rpm.
CB: 65-67 mph. Some loopiness though still developing command of pitch. T1852, 1826 average rpm.
CH: 70-72 mph. Change plays well off FB. Could be a solid go to for him. T1380, 1305 average rpm.

Aidan Strong, Mantachie (MS), 2026

 Positional Profile: RHP

Body: 6-1, 160-pounds. Lean and wiry frame, room to add mass.
Delivery: Very solid and managable tempo. Good direction and stride length. 
Arm Action: RH. Loose arm action with some whip.
FB: T77, 75-77 mph. Solid arm side action. Excited to follow this one! . T1960, 1935 average rpm.
CB: 60-64 mph. Solid shape to still developing pitch. Good feel for it now. T2112, 1992 average rpm.
