McCook, IL - The Prep Baseball Super 60 Pro Showcase is set to take place on Sunday, February 2nd at The Max in McCook, IL. This event will host some of the top elite talent that the country has to offer in the 2025 class.
The state of Mississippi is set to send four players to the premier event to represent the Magnolia State. Today we will begin spotlighting the players who will be in attendance at the event from Mississippi.
Next, we will take a look at the No. 2 player in the 2025 Mississippi Class. Mississippi State recruit & '25 SS Joseph Parker.

Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 6-2, 180-pounds. Lean, wiry, athletic build.
Hit: RHH. Athletic, slightly open stance. Smooth load lowering eye level slightly. Gets good extension with aggression into contact. Upward bat path and gap to gap approach with lots of pull side power potential.
Power: 88.9 max exit velocity, averaged 82.1 mph. 298’ max distance.
Arm: LH. INF - 84 mph. Loose, quick arm action.
Defense: Advanced footwork and good range. Solid body positioning on all angles with strong accurate throws. Next level upside.
Run: 7.24 runner in the 60.
Slim 5-foot-5, 120-pound frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 70 mph. Started in an open stance, had a smooth load and used a short stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and had high finish. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 63 mph across the field; has twitchy hands, a quick exchange and athletic footwork. he fielded the ball out front and showed athletic movement laterally. Showed a loose arm action with a ¾ slot. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 8.4.
