2019 All-Mashers Team

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

As we get primed for the 2019 spring season, the staff at PBR was able to reflect on the talent that is present across the state of North Carolina.  Over 350 players in the 2019 class have already committed to a school.  The 2020 class is as deep as any class in recent history and there is top end talent already revealing itself in the 2021 and 2022 classes.

Today we unveil the 2019 PBR All-Mashers Team.  This team is comprised of 23 hitters who can put fear in an opposing dugout.  Some of these bats are looking to drive the ball out of the yard in every at-bat and some of these bats simply dominate an opponent with the number of hard barrels they find in every game.

The PBR scouting staff was tasked to find an All-Mashers team with some guidelines.  We wanted 23 players that could cover positions on the field.  The team will be laid out by their defensive positions, but there was an emphasis on making sure this club would win during batting practice and then pileup the offensive numbers during the game.  The debate was lively and there is no doubt that there are deserving players that did not make the cut.  In the end, the PBR scouting staff had an incredibly tough job but had to finalize the cut at 23 players to make sure everyone on the team got their swings as part of the 2019 PBR All-Mashers Team.

Pitcher / Duals

To make this club you have to hit.  We decided to look for good arms with great bats.  The back and forth was explosive at times, but in the end, these 5 pitchers made the All-Mashers Team.
