2019 PBR ProCase Evaluations: Pitchers Part II

Brandon Hall & Matt Payne
North Carolina Director of Scouting & PBR Assoc Scout

Sunday February 10th saw 25 of the top players in the 2019 and 2020 classes in North Carolina converge on Kernersville, NC and the Diamond Xtreme athletics facility.  In front of over 25 professional scouts, each player had his chance to show his skills in the pro-style workout.

By any measure, the 2019 ProCase was a huge success for all involved.  Nine arms worked out as pitcher onlys at the ProCase.  Each showcased advanced raw stuff and arm strength.  The ability to throw the top arms in the state one after another gives the 25+ pro scouts in attendance a chance to evaluate each potential draft against the next guy up.  It also created some buzz in the room as the arms were dialing up big numbers in their bullpens.  We are covering the 9 arms in 2 parts.  Today in Part II we look at Coby Ingle, CJ Mayhue, Cy Smith, and Chris Villaman.

Below are the complete evaluations and video from each player's day at the PBR Procase.  We will continue posting the evaluations in the coming days of the top players in North Carolina who attended the prestigious PBR ProCase.
