2019 Top Underclass Games - Outfielder Preview

On Tuesday, July 23rd, PBR will host the top players from across NC in the 2019 Top Underclass Games at UNC.  In it’s first two years, the Underclass Games have seen 40 players commit to their college destination, with still a majority of the event’s players still in high school.  This year’s roster is again loaded with talent from across North Carolina.  Players will go through a pro-style workout, showcasing on both the offensive and defensive end.  After the workout, players will compete in a modified scrimmage with live pitchers throwing to hitters.

Throughout the day, PBR will be on hand to collect and verify player statistics, add player evaluations through the PBR scouting staff, and add professionally cut video to each player’s PBR Profile.  PBR is the most trusted scouting service in the country with schools from across North Carolina, and the country, subscribing for the information.

*College coaches and pro scouts in attendance will receive the scout book and lunch as part of their attendance.

Lefrederick Wooten OF / 3B / East Bladen, NC / 2021

Rankings  StateRank: 80 / POS: 17


Showed advanced quickness at the 2019 Preseason All-State event... Followed it up with a solid high school season... Exit velocity up to 85 with more coming from a lanky frame.

 

 

 

Lukas Schramm OF / C / Apex , NC / 2022

Rankings  StateRank: 9 / POS: 4


One of the top 2022s in the area, there is a unique blend of speed and strength already present.  Has run a 6.92 for PBR with an exit velocity of 86 off the barrel.  Right handed hitter can take loud rounds of BP.

 

Logan Hall OF / LHP / Myers Park, NC / 2021

Rankings  StateRank: 43 / POS: 7


Smooth stroke for the left side with advanced rhythm.  Strength still needs to be added to the frame, but there is a lot to like in the box.  Should improve on a 7.16 sixty for PBR from last year.  Exit velocity up to 86.
