2022 Class Rankings Update: Notable Newcomers

Matt Payne
Director of Scouting, PBR of NC

As the 2021 calendar turns to March and the high school season looks to be in full gear soon, PBR NC has updated its 2022 Class Rankings. PBR was able to run several events and scout days throughout the fall along with game coverage and the use of live streams to keep track of players across the state. The events and scout days allowed the PBR Staff to identify new players and continue to evaluate prospects already on the radar. The updated rankings expand to the Top 250 in NC.

With the rankings expanded to the Top 250 in the state it brings several newcomers to the group. Below we highlight some of the players ranked in NC for the first time.

Three players new to the rankings in NC are no secret on the National level.  Everett CooperEli Serrano, and  Keegan Knutson are ranked in PBR’s Top 500 Nationally and the Top 50 in the state. They have impressed PBR Scouts at the state and national level in recent years. The additions of these guys only adds to the depth of talent in NC.
