2025 North Carolina High School Baseball: Spotlighting Top Talent

The 2025 North Carolina high school baseball season is officially underway, bringing excitement and anticipation for teams across the state. As the competition heats up, the Prep Baseball scouting staff will provide comprehensive coverage, including daily scoreboards, Players of the Week, the Power 25 rankings, and the North Carolina HS Scout Blog.

In addition to our regular coverage, we’re excited to highlight the top talent across the state through a series of specialty teams. First up: the “Big Hitters” Team—a showcase of North Carolina’s most impactful offensive players. These athletes possess elite bat-to-ball skills, game-changing power, or the ability to create havoc on the basepaths.

Later this week, we’ll unveil the “Smooth Glove” Team, recognizing the state’s top defensive standouts. To maintain a balance between offense and defense, players named to the “Big Hitters” Team will not be eligible for the “Smooth Glove” Team.
