#24 East Forsyth Scores Late, Shuts out Davie 5-0

East Forsyth- 5  Davie- 0

The #24 ranked East Forsyth Eagles visited Davie High on Tuesday March 15th for a Central Piedmont 4A matchup. Both squads entered the game coming off conference wins last Friday. 

Davie southpaw Bayden Hazlip kept the East Forsyth hitters off balance, putting up zeros in the first 4 innings. East Forsyth starter Braxton Stewart matched Hazlip, putting up zeros of his own giving his team a chance to strike first. East Forsyth would break through in the 5th when Ethan Norby scored on an Xavier Isaac single to center field. The Eagles would extend their lead in the 6th on a solo blast to left by Steele Lee. 

In the 7th East Forsyth would get to the Davie bullpen and extend the lead once again on a 2-Run home run to right by Xavier Isaac. The Eagles would add one more making the score 5-0. Braxton Stewart went the distance for East Forsyth striking out 10 in an 87 pitch complete game. These teams will meet again on Friday night at East Forsyth.
