Leesville 6           Millbrook 3

Game Recap:
Leesville traveled to Millbrook for the second of a 2 game conference series this week. With Millbrook winning the first matchup, Leesville looked to even the series with a road win. The Pride accomplished that task with a consistent offensive plan, working to create scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Millbrook jumped to an early 1-0 lead after the 1st inning, but the Pride would answer with 1 run in the third and then the big blow, a 3 run fourth inning.

Zach Durham opened the frame with a single to right, followed by Mitchell Seymour reaching on a sacrifice bunt attempt. A Jack Irby single loaded the bases where Nolan Straneiro worked a walk, moving Leesville into the lead. After a strikeout, Jack Hicks singled to center scoring Seymour. A fielder's choice from Zack Zoltoski pushed the lead to 4-1.

Leesville would add two more in the 5th to push the lead to 6-1. Millbrook catcher Justin Wilcoxen homered in the 6th to pull Millbrook back to within four but Austin Poythress and Straneiro closed the door, combining to only allow 3 runs on 4 hits while striking out 7.
