Burns & White Perform Well vs. College Playes; CVCC Player Notes

HICKORY, NC – Prep Baseball Report was on hand at Catawba Valley CC (CVCC) on Saturday September 29th to take in a day of scrimmages featuring Coach Paul Rozzelle’s Red Hawks as well as two high school based teams, the Dry Pond Blue Sox out of the Mooresville, NC region and the Heat, organized out of Hickory, NC. Both the high school teams have college commits at their 18U level, facing off with CVCC and they were able to matchup with the college players for stretches on Saturday.
CVCC is coming off a school record 48 wins and looks to build off that season. They, along with every 2-year school in the country, have some holes to fill. From the depth present, especially on the mound, CVCC will be looking to make a deep run in May.
