The North Carolina Class of 2023 Rankings were updated this week.  With an additional 100 players added to the rankings there are a lot of players to get to know in the updated rankings.  We start the process by jumping into some of the facts of the updated rankings by looking at some of the numbers inside the rankings.

PBR will continue to work to update player grades and identify more players in the state of North Carolina.  While the class of 2023 is far from complete, the rankings process gives us a good idea of the shape of the class, where there are strengths and where there may be some potential weaknesses.

 

By the Numbers – Class of 2023 Rankings

 

23 Committed Players in the Rankings

• At the time of publication, there were 23 players in the state’s 2023 class that had committed
• All 23 players made the updated class rankings release
• The top 13 players in the rankings are all committed
• 17 of the top 20 are committed
• 21 of the top 30 players in the rankings are committed

 

15 Players are Committed to the ACC

Out of state schools take the top two of the top three spots with OF Justin Best heading to Florida State and LHP Braxton Stewart committed to Louisville.
