NC: Green Level Makes a Loud Statement

PBR was there on Tuesday as Apex hosted Green Level in the 1st of a 2 game conference series set for this week.  Green Level just fell out of the PBR Power 25 this week and made a statement with a big win on the road.  

Green Level scored 15 runs on 10 hits, numerous walks and one home run by junior 1B Nick Luff. The story of the game was uncommitted junior pitcher, Levi Gingerich. Gingerich threw a six inning no hitter with 8 k's. The only run allowed was in the 4th inning on three hit batters and a walk. 

Green Level moved to 4-2, 2-2 in conference.  The Gators added another conference win on Wednesday at home vs. Cary.  Apex fell to 6-5, 1-3 in league.  The Cougars bounced back with a win at home vs. Panther Creek on Wednesday.  These two will face off on Friday at Green Level.
