January has come and gone and while there is still a chill in the air, spring will be here soon.  February brings the start of the college and high school seasons in NC.  Players across the state are preparing their bodies and minds for the grind that lies ahead.  January saw those players ramping up and PBR was on hand to cover their progress.

Zack Michael OF / Apex, NC / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 17 / POS: 2 OverallRank: 383 / POS: 63   Toolsy outfielder did not disappoint at the Preseason All-State last weekened.  North Carolina State commit will be followed by many over the coming couple of years.

Liam Norris LHP / 1B / Green Hope, NC / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 5 / POS: 1   Big lefty has garnered all sorts of accolades... Watching his video, you know why.

Zachary Hammer RHP / SS / Alexander Central , NC / 2018 Rankings  StateRank: 25 / POS: 10   Big righty is now committed to Catawba Valley CC.  Reports of increased arm strength this winter could move him up on prospect lists.
