PBR Scout Day: Area IV American Legion - Player Analysis

Brandon Hall & Matt Payne
North Carolina Director of Scouting & PBR Assoc Scout

Prep Baseball Report held workouts with Area IV American Legion players on June 10th and 11th.  These workouts were designed to give players in the American Legion system a way to connect with college coaches and professional scouts through a pro-style workout.  As PBR continues to grow, similar opportunities are available for club teams and American Legion organizations across North Carolina.

As part of the workout, position players ran a laser timed 60, worked out at their defensive position, and hit several rounds of live BP. Pitchers were able to throw controlled bullpens. PBR's scouts collected statistical information from the workout, while producing full evaluations on select players. Below are those evaluations, including 11 players with their graduating years ranging 2017 - 2020.
