PBR of North Carolina was on hand at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill, NC on Wednesday October 5th for a Scout Day with the C35 Organization. The scout day featured players from the 2023-2027 grad classes.
The evening began with catchers going through a defensive evaluation, followed by infielders and outfielders going through their defensive evaluations. While position players were going through their defensive workouts pitchers were in the bullpens throwing a controlled pen with Trackman collecting ball fight analytics. When players completed their defensive evaluations they ran a laser timed 60. After the defensive workouts and bullpens were completed players took live BP on the field with Trackman collecting data on each hitter.

Quick Hitters - 2025, 2026, & 2027 Pitchers
Luke Roupe, RHP, North Myrtle Beach HS (SC), 2025
Broad Shoulders and athletic frame at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds. Stable head with a simple leg lift, working level. Small crossfire in the landing. Athletic arm swing and high-¾ slot. Fastball at 84-86, spinning up to 2442rpm with average ride and run. Breaking ball has 10/4 tilt, early but with some depth at 71-73, 2130rpm.
Aiden Suggs, RHP, Loris HS (SC), 2025
Athletic build at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Some side to side over the rubber as he swings the leg to the low chest. Slight pelvic tilt up through balance. Swings to an on-line landing. Lacks a backside drive. Long arm action to a high-¾ slot. Average to above arm speed. Solid arm strength. Fastball up to 86, 2251rpm with above average ride and arm side action. Slider spins, still maturing with horizontal action at 77-79, 2219 rpm.
Cooper Moss, RHP, Southern Lee HS, 2025
Strength present at 6-foot-1, 160 pounds. Choppy delivery but the arm works with strength and solid arm speed through an over-the-top slot. Heavy run on the fastball, sitting 82-85. 1:45 spin tilt at release. Slider is sharp with heavy horizontal break and some depth. 10/4 shape at 66-69.
Ryan Reid, RHP, Cardinal Gibbons, 2025
Thin and still maturing. Stands 6-foot-2, 150 pounds with plenty of room to fill out. Fastball has run with solid feel for the zone. Fastball ranged 78-80, 1772rpm with 1:15 spin out of the hand. Slows the hand a bit on the change-up but shows solid feel with similar metrics to the fastball.
Zane Overman, RHP, Chatham Central HS, 2025
Physical presence at 6-foot-3, 218 pounds. Side saddle setup with a rhythmic rocker and lift to balance. Some effort in the arm swing to an over-the-top slot. Fastball up to 80, 1965rpm. Heavy run, averaging 15.9in of action out of the hand with a 1:30 spin tilt at release. Slider showed occasional sharpness working horizontal across the zone at 65-70.
Chase Schoch, RHP, Millbrook HS, 2025
Average build at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Controlled over the rubber, level and in-line. Repeats. Medium arm swing to a high-¾ slot. Average arm speed. Fastball at 74-80, 1927rpm. Played true. Good feel for the zone.
Dalton Wilkins, RHP, Wayne School of Engineering, 2025
Athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds. Good rhythm in the delivery working on-line and level. Athletic arm swing to a high-¾ slot. Some effort through the release as the arm is slightly laid off at foot-strike. Good arm speed. More velo in the tank, now with maturation coming. Fastball at 77-79, 2016rpm. Sink metrics with above average run. 2:00 spin tilt at release. Breaking ball is early with big 10/4 tilt, at times sharp at 64-67, 2423rpm.
Jason Walker, RHP, Richmond SR HS, 2025
Thin frame at 6-foot, 150 pounds. Torques through the delivery, uncoiling as he lands on-line. Some effort in the arm swing as it gets to an over-the-top slot. Above average arm speed. Fastball up to 78.3rpm, 2076rpm, playing true through the zone with average ride.
Riley Cuddy, RHP, Middle Creek HS, 2026
Lanky 6-foot-3, 180 pounds. Still a lot of maturation to come. Choppy delivery, working level, and loading up the lower half as he works to an on-line foot-strike. Long arm action, reaching out of the glove, getting to a low-¾ slot. Average to above arm speed. Fastball ranged 79-83, 2105rpm with sink metrics and average run. 1:45 spin tilt at release. Slider has big horizontal action out of the hand. Should tighten with maturity. Slider sat 71-73, 2341rpm.
Camden Miller, RHP, Northwood HS, 2026
Straight line frame at 6-foot-5, 205 pounds. Choppy delivery, stable over the rubber with a slight pause at balance. Arm is stiff out of the glove but frees up through an over-the-top slot. Average to above arm speed. Has arm strength. Fastball up to 79, 2199rpm. Average ride, playing true through the zone.
Connor Bast, RHP, Freedom Christian, 2027
Large frame with broad shoulders at 6-foot-1, 245 pounds. Stable with solid rhythm. Level and on-line. Arm reaches out of the glove toward 2B, working to a high-¾ slot. Average arm speed. Fastball at 78-81, 1995rpm. Sink metrics with an average of 13in or arm side run out of the hand. 1:45 spin tilt at release.
