Quick Hitters: Fungo Cadet Scout Day - Pitchers

On Sunday August 29th PBR of North Carolina was on hand for a Scout Day with Fungo Cadet. The event featured 14 players from the 2023-2025 grad classes.
The day started with the catcher going through his defensive evaluation making throws to second base. Pitchers followed by throwing a controlled bullpen of 15-20 pitches with Trackman gathering ball flight data. Position players started their day running a laser timed 60 followed by batting practice on the field with Trackman gathering ball flight data. The day concluded with infielders and outfielders going through a defensive evaluation.

QUICK HITTERS - PITCHERS
5-foot-7, 131-pound frame with room for maturation ahead. Clean arm swing with a high ¾ release. Attacked the bottom of the zone during his pen. Fastball has run to his arm side topping at 75.27 mph. Maintains arm speed on his changeup with fading action. Has feel for his breaking ball that he gets to his glove side at the bottom of the zone.
5-foot-3, 110-pound build. Long arm swing with a low ¾ slot. Fastball has angle when going to his glove side. Changeup has fade and sinking action. Breaking ball has sweeping action. Has feel for three pitches.
6-foot-1, 205-pound build. Has some funk to his delivery, arm works through a high ¾ release. Top fastball on the day topping at 76.50 mph. Breaking ball has 12/6 tilt. His changeup has sinking action. Strike thrower with all three pitches.
Lanky frame at 6-foot-1, 150-pound with room to fill out. Smooth, easy tempo to his delivery with a clean arm action. Worked in the zone with his fastball at 72-73 mph. Has feel for his breaking ball with 11/5 shape.
5-foot-10, 145-pound frame with room for maturation ahead. Quick tempo to his delivery with a clean arm action using a high ¾ slot. Consistently located his fastball to the bottom of the zone. Has feel for his changeup keeping it at the bottom of the zone.
